David recently wrapped on series 2 of The Lazarus Project for Urban Myth Films/Sky. Also for Sky, he shot their 2022 Holiday film This is Christmas with Director Chris Foggin. Released in the Autumn of ’22 was Paul Feig’s feature film The School For Good and Evil on which he DP’d the Action Unit for Netflix.

Due out this spring is Tom Jones, a 4 part period drama for Mammoth Screen/ITV/PBS Masterpiece.

Other work includes the feature films Show Dogs, for director Raja Gosnell starring Will Arnett, as well as thie independent Lad: A Yorkshire Story which picked up over 20 international awards including 2 for Best Cinematography.

Currently on Netflix is Outside The Wire, director Mikael Håfström’s sci-fi/action film starring Anthony Mackie, on which David worked as 2nd Unit Director, having previously worked for 42MP/Netflix as 2nd Unit DP on their Nicholas Hoult & Henry Cavill war drama Sand Castle.

For Neal Street Productions he worked on the hit BBC series Call The Midwife. He also shot VFX unit for the Netflix series Dark Crystal for director Louis Leterrier.

Further credits include additional units and VFX work on films including Wonka, Paddington 2, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Mowgli, Cursed and Watchmen. For Universal he shot Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, The Hogwarts Express as well as Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure - all large scale, green screen and motion control films starring Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes, Robbie Coltrane, Helena Bonham Carter and Brendan Gleeson.

David worked as a camera assistant for over 10 years, alongside the world's leading cinematographers on films including Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Bourne Ultimatum, V for Vendetta, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and the Harry Potter series.
